Role & responsibilities

  • Make critical and structural architectural decisions to ensure system consistency, scalability, and long-term sustainability
  • Conduct technology watch on IT innovations to propose relevant evolutions for the IT ecosystem
  • Guide and support development teams on complex or technically challenging projects
  • Design and build Proof of Concepts (PoCs) for critical projects to validate technical feasibility prior to guiding teams through actual implementation
  • Define, harmonize, and enforce technical governance: tech stack choices, development standards, and cross-cutting best practices
  • Provide mentoring for developers to foster continuous learning and elevate overall technical skills
  • Ensure Security by Design, resilience, maintainability, and observability of microservice-oriented technical assets
  • Write, update, and govern architectural documentation (Technical Architecture Documents, system cartography, decision matrices).

Your profile

  • University degree (minimum Bac+2) in Computer Science, or equivalent with an IT option
  • Proven experience (3 years) relevant to the role in question
  • Ability to work in a team, while demonstrating clear independence, responsibility, and performance
  • Strong technical leadership, pedagogy, and demonstrated ability to unite teams around an architectural vision
  • In-depth mastery of DevOps concepts, distributed architectures, and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)
  • Knowledge of an agile project methodology is considered an asset
  • Technical or agile certification, such as Scrum, is considered an asset
  • Knowledge of the financial sector and open-source solutions
  • Fluent in French and English; knowledge of Luxembourgish and/or German is considered an asset
  • Strategic vision, strong analytical and synthesis skills

  • MicroServices, MVC model, REST/SOAP, Domain Driven Design, Test Driven Development, Behavior Driven Development, UML modelling, Spring, security/OWASP, experience in architectural documentation

The successful candidate (m/f) will be hired as public employee (“employé de l’Etat”) under a permanent contract. If the candidate meets the required conditions, s/he will be asked to apply for admission to the status of civil servant (“fonctionnaire de l’Etat”).

Prior to the conclusion of the contract, the candidate must submit an extract from the criminal record (bulletin n°3), dated less than 2 months, in order to prove their conduct and integrity.
