Description
- Create a daily or weekly schedule to ensure all day-to-day activities like accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash receipts are managed efficiently.
- Maintain clear and detailed records of all transactions and activities to ensure full compliance with local GAAP and company policies.
- Work closely with legal team members to provide support on finance-related matters.
- Participate actively in month-end and year-end closing activities to facilitate timely reporting and support the audit process.
- Identify areas for workflow improvement and implement procedures to enhance efficiency and strengthen internal controls.
- Collaborate with the GSC team on projects related to finance processes and ensure successful implementation in Luxembourg.
Profile
- You hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting (or an equivalent qualification, such as BTS/DUT) with at least 6-8 years of experience in general accounting.
- Experience in a commercial or professional services environment is highly advantageous.
- You possess a strong understanding of VAT and taxation in Luxembourg.
- You have advanced skills in Excel, and familiarity with SAP is beneficial.
- Experience with data analytics tools or AI (such as Power BI) is a significant advantage.
- You demonstrate strong communication abilities, both written and verbal, and are fluent in French and English.
- You exhibit effective time management skills and maintain a high level of precision.
- You are organized, have a mature demeanor, and can handle stress effectively.
- You are an initiative-taking team player capable of working autonomously and taking ownership when necessary.
