Description
- Ensure accounting processing of financial transactions: Ensure that all financial transactions are recorded accurately and in compliance with current accounting standards.
- Place orders: Ensure that you follow established procedures for placing money market, stock, bond and transfer orders, taking care to meet specified deadlines.
- Preparation of daily cash reconciliations: Compare cash balances with bank statements and identify and rectify any discrepancies.
- Preparation of monthly inventory reconciliations: Ensure that inventories and other stocktakings are correctly valued and recorded in the accounts.
- Daily price control: Monitor and record financial asset prices to ensure accuracy.
- Weekly preparation and dispatch of Unit of Account prices: Proactively communicate Unit of Account prices to the relevant parties, respecting set deadlines.
- Monthly update of UC positions in the accounting software: Regularly update the data on Units of Account in the accounting software to ensure accuracy.
- Tracking retrocession fees: Ensure that retrocession fees are carefully tracked and documented for full transparency.
- Monitoring of unrealized capital gains and provisions: Keep abreast of unrealized capital gains and provisions to anticipate any adjustments that may need to be made.
- Management of accounting software repository: Ensure that the accounting software repository is up to date and in line with the company's needs.
- Monitoring relations with statutory auditors: Cooperate effectively with the statutory auditors by providing the information requested and proactively answering their questions.
Profile
- 3 years' higher education in Accounting, Finance or related field.
- 5 years' experience in banking or insurance accounting.
- Fluency in spoken and written French and English.
- Excellent knowledge of financial instruments.
- Proficiency in office automation tools: Word, Excel, Tableau.
- Experience with GP4 accounting software.
- Aptitude for IT development.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing environments.
