Position Overview:
As a Senior Accountant, you’ll be the mastermind behind the financial well-being of a select portfolio of clients. Your day-to-day will involve more than just numbers you’ll be crafting financial masterpieces, providing strategic insights, and ensuring that every fiscal note hits the right key. Key Responsibilities:
- Client Account Management: Maintain and oversee the financial records for a diverse portfolio of clients, including bookkeeping, financial reporting, and tax filings.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local and international regulations.
- Tax Compliance: Provide expert advice on tax planning and ensure all tax obligations are met in a timely manner.
- Audit Coordination: Assist in the preparation and coordination of audits, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate.
- Client Advisory: Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering strategic financial advice to help them achieve their business goals.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on changes in tax and financial regulations, ensuring all client accounts are fully compliant.
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of Luxembourg accounting standards and tax regulations.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in general accounting, ideally within a fiduciary or financial services firm in Luxembourg.
- Fluency in German and English, additional languages are an asset.
