Our client, a renowned PSF offering a full range of services such as risk management, compliance, and domiciliation for various clients, is seeking a Junior Risk Officer to join an international team of thirty people in Luxembourg City. Junior Risk Officer, your role will include:
- Assisting and participating in the identification, measurement, monitoring, and reporting of risks (market, liquidity, operational, valuation).
- Evaluating transactions and liaising with relevant parties, including board members, advisors, and investment managers.
- Collaborating/assisting in various projects focused on risk modeling (qualitative and quantitative) and regulatory changes.
- Assessing investment compliance and adherence to established risk profiles.
- Organizing and implementing the entire risk management process for both tradable and non-tradable assets (private equity, real estate, fund of funds).
- Participating in various projects aimed at improving risk measurement tools.
- Preparing risk management data for reports submitted to the regulatory authority.
To succeed in this role, you should:
- Have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in risk management in Luxembourg, preferably within a Big Four, and/or a financial sector professional, and/or an investment fund manager.
- Possess excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Have a strong command of Excel, Office, and Access.
- Hold a master's degree in one of the following fields: finance, business administration.
- Have excellent communication skills in English and French (other European languages will be considered an asset).
