Chief Risk & Compliance - Your Role :
We are seeking a Chief Risk and Compliance with over 6 years of experience, preferably with a background in a law firm. This role involves:
- Policy Interpretation and Training:
- Acting as the local expert on regulatory frameworks (AML-CTF, international sanctions, GDPR, DAC6, etc.).
- Implementing and monitoring compliance with regulations.
- Conducting training to foster a risk-aware culture within the firm.
- Supervision:
- Leading a team of one in-house lawyer and three risk and compliance analysts.
- Ensuring the efficient handling of client file procedures and compliance with internal and external policies.
- Strategic Advice:
- Offering strategic guidance on risk management to senior management.
- Assisting in key projects by providing risk insights and updating the firm's risk register.
Chief Risk & Compliance - Your Profile:
- Over 6 years of experience in a law firm, with a transition into risk and compliance.
- Strong expertise in regulatory frameworks such as AML, GDPR, DAC6, and international sanctions.
- Bachelor and/or Master in Law and a previous experience as an Associate are mandatory
- Bilingual in French and English (required).
- Ability to supervise a team, offer strategic advice, and maintain internal policies.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Chief Risk & Compliance - What We Offer :
