We are looking for a Compliance Officer for our client, an international company located in Luxembourg, on a temporary contract basis.

Responsibilities:
- Establishing and maintaining a centralized repository of all company policies, ensuring alignment with relevant legislation, regulations, and agreements to support consistent internal compliance (legislative compliance audit scope)
- Identify, assess, monitor, and mitigate compliance risks across the organization. Including the determination of the applicability of legal requirements (in coordination with the Legal, Regulatory, and Compliance teams), evaluating the impact of potential non-compliance, and recommending actions or changes to processes and procedures to address gaps
- Actively monitoring and updating the organization on changes in the external regulatory environment, ensuring that policies and practices remain current and compliant
Your profile:
- You bring a unique blend of legal knowledge, compliance expertise, and multicultural experience
- You have a Bachelor’s Degree in Law
- You are Fluent in English with excellent written and spoken proficiency (C1 level)
- You possess over 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role, handling complex regulatory and compliance issues
- You are familiar with essential compliance and risk management areas, including KYC, AML, cybersecurity, and due diligence
- You have excellent communication and organizational skills
- You are trustworthy, open-minded, proactive, and adaptable to changing demands, with a focus on continuous improvement
- You have advanced proficiency in MS Office and Excel, with the ability to leverage these tools for efficient data analysis and reporting
- You are skilled in translating plans into concrete actions and developing clear, coherent strategies to achieve organizational goals
