CTG IT Solutions is an IT Services Company dedicated to European Institutions. We are currently hiring a Infrastructure Engineer to strengthen our team within a prestigious European Institution.
Your Missions:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and data integration needs.
- Design data virtualization solutions that meet business objectives and data governance standards.
- Configure and deploy data virtualization software and infrastructure components.
- Develop data integration workflows, data access layers, and virtual views to provide unified access to distributed data sources.
- Optimize performance and scalability of data virtualization solutions through tuning and optimization techniques.
- Integrate disparate data sources, including databases, data warehouses, cloud services, and APIs, into a unified virtual layer.
- Enable self-service data access by providing tools and interfaces for querying and accessing virtualized data.
- Monitor the health and performance of data virtualization infrastructure and services.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data integration, performance bottlenecks, and data access.
- Implement data governance policies and controls to ensure data quality, consistency, and security.
- Perform regular maintenance tasks such as software upgrades, patches, and backups.
Your profile:
Technical Skills:
- Denodo (must-have) or equivalent tools like Cisco Data Virtualization, Red Hat JBoss DV
- Strong command of SQL, data modeling, and query optimization
- Scripting: Bash, Python, PowerShell
- DevOps & CI/CD tools: GitHub, Nexus, Azure DevOps, Jira, Splunk
- Linux system administration
- Understanding of data governance, access interfaces (REST, JDBC, ODBC), and metadata management
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and hybrid architecture challenges
Experience:
- Hands-on experience in enterprise-scale data virtualization
- Experience with performance tuning and integration troubleshooting
- Knowledge of data quality assessment, security policies, and compliance regulations
- Capacity to train users and support platform evangelization across teams
