Waagner-Biro Luxembourg Stage Systems S.A. is part of the Waagner-Biro Stage Systems Group, one of the world's largest suppliers of stage technol ogy, with headquarters in Austria. As one of the global market leaders, the company develops and installs stage technology systems for opera houses, theatres, music halls, multi-purpose halls, and cruise ships. The main focus at the Luxembourg location in Rodange is developing the safety-related con trol system for the stage machinery "Computer-Aided Theatre" (C⋅A⋅T), which uses state-of-the-art technology to control the upper stage and lower stage machinery in more than 200 venues worldwide.
TASK DESCRIPTION
The IT Assistant at Waagner-Biro Stage Systems Luxembourg is responsible for the following tasks:
- User support and troubleshooting
- Installation and maintenance of Windows laptops and peripherals
- Microsoft 365 user and permission management
- Support of Linux and Windows servers
- Network, firewall and VPN support
- Hardware setup and replacement
- Backup and update support
- Documentation and IT inventory
- Support for internal IT and AI projects
OUR REQUIREMENTS
- IT education or comparable experience
- Good Windows and Microsoft 365 knowledge
- Basic Linux and networking knowledge
- Service-oriented mindset and willingness to support users in daily IT issues
- Structured and independent working style
- German and English skills
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience with virtualization, firewalls and VPNs
- Scripting or automation experience
- Interest in AI systems and infrastructure
- Interest in IT infrastructure and technical documentation
- Interest in energy-efficient and sustainable IT solutions
