EU fundamental rights, sustainability and green agenda, digital regulation and EU security are among its research priority areas. The fundamental aim of the LCEL is to produce outstanding scholarship that is impactful and addresses contemporary issues of concern to society. Strategically situated near key EU institutions in Luxembourg, the LCEL leverages its location to foster impactful research and collaboration on European legal matters.
