Dynatrace APM consultant Job Description:
- Experience and knowledge in Fault & Performance management domains.
- Experience and knowledge with multiple application monitoring tools such Dynatrace, New Relic, AppDynamics, BMC true sight application monitoring
- Plan, configure, implement, manage, and maintain the Dynatrace tool by performing administrative tasks from the console.
- Create, maintain, and tune monitoring and notification rules in Dynatrace.
- Collaborate with clients and team Engineers to determine requirements for filters, events, alerts, dashboards, and reporting within Dynatrace.
- Act as SME for Dynatrace including day to day administration, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with Dynatrace installation, configuration, administration, tuning/adjustments of monitoring thresholds and notifications
- 5+ years of solid scripting experience with scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, PowerShell, Linux/Unix shell scripting, and other programming languages
- Knowledge and expertise network security, networks & services monitoring and performance management
- Based on recommendations from management, implement new and improved processes, change processes, perform new tasks, create reports, and address ad-hoc requests.
- Good knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Azure DevOps
Profile:
What's desired to have:
- Experience with Splunk is a plus.
- Architect level of experience in Dynatrace or any other application monitoring tool.
- Experience with ITSM tool such BMC Remedy is a plus
- Certification in Dynatrace application monitoring tool is a plus
