Qualified Accountant

Our client, a leading player in investment management, is looking for a Qualified Accountant to join its finance team in Luxembourg. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract with the potential to transition into a permanent role, supporting the company’s continued growth.

Job description : 

As a Qualified Accountant, you will be responsible for the financial and accounting management of investment funds, with a focus on direct lending and strategic opportunity funds. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Reviewing accounting records and financial reports to ensure accuracy.
• Overseeing the preparation of quarterly investor reports and financial statements in compliance with Lux GAAP.
• Providing investor relations support, managing inquiries, and preparing communications.
• Coordinating capital calls and distributions with external administrators.
• Managing tax reporting, AIFMD, and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Supporting fund structuring and restructuring processes in collaboration with legal teams.
• Overseeing hedging strategies and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Desired profile : 

As a Qualified Accountant, you have :

• Fully Qualified accountant
• Minimum 5 years experience in investment management, preferably in private equity, private credit, or asset management.
• Familiarity with Luxembourg fund structures is a plus
• Advanced Excel skills ; experience with WSO is an advantage
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Highky organized, detail-oriented, and a strong team player
• Analytical mindset, proactive attitude, and ability to work under pressure
