Our client is a leading provider of independent third-party AIFM (Alternative Investment Fund Manager) and fund management services, based in Luxembourg. With a strong focus on private equity, real assets, and private credit, the firm combines deep regulatory expertise with a hands-on, entrepreneurial approach to support the growth and governance of alternative investment funds.
As a portfolio analyst / accountant, your tasks will be :
Assist with portfolio data analysis, reconciliation and reporting on a regular basis
Support the preparation of financial and operational reports for internal and client use
Maintain and update Excel-based models for portfolio tracking and performance analytics
Coordinate with external service providers (e.g. fund administrators, auditors) to ensure timely and accurate data delivery
Participate in accounting and NAV review processes, supporting the valuation and oversight teams
Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal systems, templates, and reporting processes
Assist in automating workflows and exploring opportunities to implement AI-driven tools
As a portfolio analyst / accountant, you should have :
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance or a related field
0–3 years of professional experience; ideally in fund administration, accounting, or portfolio analysis within Luxembourg
Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, formulas), VBA or Power Query knowledge is a plus
Interest or basic understanding of AI applications in data analysis is a plus
Highly analytical, detail-oriented and fast learner
Comfortable working in a small team, entrepreneurial environment with exposure to multiple responsibilities
Languages:
English: full professional proficiency (required)
German: considered a strong asset
French: beneficial but not mandatory
