As part of its ongoing expansion, a leading company is looking for a Financial Controller - CDI to strengthen its team based in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.
Job description:
- Analyze the company's financial health in order to improve profitability.
- Carry out various analyses: sales, variances between forecasts and results, short- and long-term financial forecasts, as well as monitoring budgets and sales targets.
- Supervise accounting closures and inventory operations.
- Measure, control and forecast operating results (management indicators, control of financial risks and monitoring of variances from forecasts).
- Support operational teams with relevant analyses.
- Monitor budgets and implement management and control tools.
- Collect financial and accounting information from various subsidiaries and departments.
Participate actively in the company's overall management:
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations and procedures.
- Harmonize accounting and financial procedures within the company.
- Ensure financial reporting to the Management Committee (monthly analyses, economic and financial studies, activity summaries).
- Advise decision-makers (senior management, department heads, managers) in strategic decision-making.
Profile:
- BAC+3 or Master's degree in management, accounting or equivalent.
- 5 years' experience in a similar position would be an asset.
- Excellent knowledge of economics, management, accounting, taxation and corporate law.
- Organizational, rigorous and analytical skills.
- Synthesis and communication skills.
- Fluency in French and English. Knowledge of German is a plus.
