Supply Chain Assistant (m/f/d) - Fixed Term Contract – 18 months

We are a 100% independent, family-owned Luxembourgish company with over 175 years’ experience in the fast-moving consumer goods industry (tobacco products, smoking accessories, vaping, CBD and other nicotine products such as nicotine pouches). Within a dynamic environment towards more reduced risk products, we have embarked on an innovative journey to further strengthen our position in Europe, to grow worldwide and to enter new nicotine categories.

To support our current growth, we are looking for a

 Supply Chain Assistant (m/f/d)

Fixed Term Contract – 18 months

Erpeldange – sur -sûre

The Supply Chain Assistant is responsible for the analysis of the markets. He/She is in charge of collecting the relevant data to make the forecasts and the reception and shipping plans.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Make the Reception and Shipping plans (E.g. Provide factories with forecasts of net requirements to produce based on historical sales figures, stock levels, promotions, security stocks and pending productions
• Adjust Reception plan due to production scheduling of factories and decisions Sales & Operations meeting (Planning New Introductions, Delayed orders ....)
• Creation of Shipping plans based on the adjusted Reception Plans After S&OP)
• Make analysis and reporting of the daily activities to Head of Strategic Planning (E.g. Stock analysis (Out of Stock / Overstock); Market analysis (Strategy, New Product, Production Stops)
• Analysis of deviations between net requirements and real production; Analysis and forecast Accuracy)

YOUR PROFILE:

• Fluent in English is mandatory; French and German are considered strong assets
• First experience or prior experience in supply chain or a related field is an asset
• Strong IT skills, particularly in SAP, Demand Planning Systems and MS Excel; knowledge of IBP is a plus
• Highly dynamic, proactive and results-oriented, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Demonstrates a genuine curiosity about the business and the markets under your responsibility (e.g. conduct research, validating data quality, engaging with stakeholders)
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Team player with a strong sense of integrity and accountability
• Comfortable interacting with different departments to ensure end-to-end supply chain consistency
