Role Overview
The Senior Business Analyst operates within the Private Capital domain, supporting transformation, regulatory, and financial reporting initiatives. The role focuses on fund accounting, end-to-end process analysis, system evolution, and business-driven change delivery in a complex, multi-location environment.
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Process Documentation
- Analyse and document end-to-end Private Capital business processes, from investor registry through asset ownership, fund accounting, and regulatory reporting.
- Produce clear and structured business documentation to support solution design and implementation.
- Define and maintain “as-is” and “to-be” process models, identifying gaps, dependencies, risks, and impacts.
- Define mappings and business rules to ensure compatibility between current and target operating models and systems.
Requirements & Stakeholder Management
· Work closely with business stakeholders across multiple locations to:
- Gather, analyse, and challenge business requirements.
- Clarify scope and assumptions.
- Validate functional specifications and acceptance criteria.
· Act as a key interface between business, operations, IT, and external vendors.
Operational Efficiency & Controls
- Identify opportunities for operational improvements and control enhancements across the Private Capital business domain.
- Contribute to governance, data quality, and reporting reliability initiatives.
- Support qualitative implementation of change in line with established governance and delivery frameworks.
Testing & Delivery Support
· Assist during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phases:
- Preparation of test scenarios, datasets, and execution plans.
- Coordination with business users.
- Defect analysis, tracking, and resolution support.
· Write and manage UAT test cases in Octane, ensuring traceability to business requirements.
Project & Vendor Coordination
- Support implementation of financial reporting and transformation projects.
- Liaise with operational teams and solution vendors.
- Perform in-depth data analysis to provide validated datasets for financial statements and regulatory reporting generation.
- Contribute to project tracking, status reporting, and documentation via collaboration platforms.

Required Profile
Experience & Skills
- Senior-level Business Analyst experience within Private Capital / Alternative Investments.
- Strong knowledge of Fund Accounting and financial statement production.
- Understanding of multiple GAAP frameworks.
- Proven ability to document complex business processes and data flows.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working in multi-location and international environments.
Technical & Functional Assets
· Experience with eFront and/or similar Private Capital platforms.
· Strong data analysis capabilities.
· Hands-on experience with UAT execution and test case management, preferably using Octane.
Language
• Fluent English (working language).
