At the heart of this innovation is our unique composite manufacturing technology: Gradel Robotic Additive Manufacturing (GRAM) – an endless filament 3D winding process.
YOUR ROLE
We are looking for a talented Mechanical Design Engineer to support the development of our activity and help drive the adoption of GRAM technology. You will play a key role in designing advanced lightweight components and tooling for high-performance applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop lightweight components for space and other advanced applications.
- Design tooling and specific equipment for the GRAM process.
- Support the development and optimisation of the GRAM process.
- Analyse customer requirements and propose solutions compatible with GRAM technology.
- Prepare technical documentation, drawings, and BOMs according to best practices.
Your Profile
- Master’s degree in mechanical engineering with at least 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Strong expertise in designing composite parts and/or mechanical equipment.
- Solid knowledge of stress calculation and standard manufacturing processes.
- Ability to work independently while being a strong team player and communicator.
- Organised, methodical, practical, and innovative problem-solver.
- Proficiency in SOLIDWORKS and PDM SOLIDWORKS (asset).
- Programming skills (VBA, Python) considered as an advantage.
- Experience in space or aeronautic industry is an asset.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written); French or German is a plus.
