Risk Officer – UCITS (m/f)

Fundsight is looking for a Risk Officer to join its UCITS Risk Management team.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing the risk management framework for a portfolio of UCITS clients.

Your role

• Assist the UCITS Risk Management team with the implementation and ongoing enhancement of the risk management framework.
• Prepare periodic risk reports on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
• Perform risk assessments for existing and new UCITS, determine their risk profiles and monitor applicable risk limits, including market risk (commitment and VaR), credit risk, liquidity risk, counterparty risk and operational risk indicators (including TER, PTR and NAV errors).
• Contribute to the integration and monitoring of sustainability risks, including ESG, SFDR and EU Taxonomy considerations, within the risk management process.
• Support the Head of Risk Management on a range of risk management matters.
• Review the existing risk management framework against regulatory and internal requirements, in close cooperation with other departments.
• Monitor UCITS liquidity and analyse the results of liquidity stress tests.
• Provide regular updates to the Head of Risk Management and the relevant governing bodies.

Your skills and experience

• Master’s degree in economics, finance, mathematics or a related field.
• At least 2 years of previous experience in risk management, control and/or audit functions.
• Good knowledge and understanding of the Luxembourg investment fund industry and the UCITS regulatory framework.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative and manage priorities effectively. 
• Fluency in English; proficiency in French or Italian would be an asset.
