FINANCE PAYMENT & FP&A OFFICER - 1 year
THE ROLE:
DO Recruitment Advisors is pleased to represent an international and prestigious investment firm in the recruitment of their FINANCE PAYMENT & FP&A OFFICER for a 1year FTC.
Supporting the Payments team for the invoice approval and payment processes of various entities including preparation or review of payments. Ensure internal controls are operating effectively and are properly documented.
Supporting the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team in budgeting, forecasting, committee and internal reporting as well as analysis of the Company.
Main Responsibilities
Payments
- Support the invoices' approval and payment processes
- Arranging for the payment of the Company and subsidiary invoices after the required approvals have been obtained and checking their accurate execution
- Reconciliation of the invoices trackers with suppliers' ledgers together with accounting team
- Assist in maintaining and continuously improving the invoice approval and payment approval's procedures
- Involvement in system changes/improvements relating to the invoice approval and payment processes
- Ensure internal controls are operating effectively
- Responsible for proposing and maintaining details of payment initiators, approvers and releasers
- Be in charge of the reconciliation of corporate credit cards
- Manage cut off time across all applicable currencies
- Other ad hoc tasks as required
FP&A
- Assist with the preparation of the annual budget of the Company and certain subsidiaries within the group
- Support the FP&A team in preparing the periodic and ad hoc reporting, analysis of historical performance and capital expenditure and key operating metrics
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and presentations for management and materials for Board of Directors' meetings and for the shareholder
- Coordinate closely with business functions to review projections, budgets and historical results, as well as set deadlines, templates and reporting requirements
- Provide operational FP&A support to the shareholder for certain projects
- Assist in the implementation of FP&A financial systems and tools
- Assist in the development of business performance reporting to the Board for Company's investments portfolio
- Support in the improvement of procedures and policies for financial planning and analysis activities
- Ensure that the internal control environment relating to financial processes is operating effectively
THE CANDIDATE PROFILE :
- Bachelor in Finance or related topics
- At least 3 years' experience in accounting, financial planning and analysis or business controlling roles
- Analytical mind set; collaborative team player
- High degree of personal and professional integrity
- Strong time management and an ability to properly prioritize tasks
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work in a changing, multicultural environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities
- An ability to positively collaborate across varied functions
- Strong Excel skills
- Fluency in English is mandatory. Any additional language is a plus
