What will you do:
- Perform independent valuation for businesses and tangible and intangible assets for mergers and acquisitions, litigation support, dispute resolution, financial reporting, restructuring, and financial advisory.
- Build/review financial models and assessing assumptions and data which underlie the model.
- Advise clients and lead the operational delivery of valuations and modelling engagement.
- Lead the delivery of valuation and modelling engagement and be the reference point of contact for the team and the client in the preparation and execution of each project assigned to you.
- Create presentations and reports for ongoing engagements and develop marketing materials for prospective clients.
- Identify new business opportunities and participating in key proposals and presentations for new businesses.
- Research and monitor industry best practices on valuation models and techniques to ensure that the valuation practice is in line with industry best practices.
- Contribute to practice growth and development.
- Participate in the development and delivery of training programs.
- Coach and mentor practitioners to their highest potential.
What about you:
- Master degree in corporate finance, financial engineering, business administration, economics.
- 5 or more years of valuation experience acquired with the valuation practice within an accounting, professional services firm or a bank.
- Strong knowledge of company valuation methodologies and experience creating flexible forecasting and scenario models.
- Experience in cross-functional collaboration with executives across the company.
- Ability to communicate and discuss complex topics with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently, develop good relationships with senior management and operate well within a team environment.
- Business fluency in English; French or German fluency would be considered an asset.
