Laboratory Technician Technologist/ Medical Technical Assistant - Fertility Department (M/F)

Job description

As a Laboratory Technician/Laboratory Technologist/ATM, you will play an active role in the smooth running of the patient pathway on our technical platform located in Leudelange within the "Fertility" department.

You will work as part of a young and motivated team, supported by advanced digital solutions that are unique in Luxembourg.

Main responsibilities

• Performing and technically validating medical biology tests: spermogram, spermocytogram, TMS, MAR Test, oxidative stress test, sperm DNA fragmentation test and sperm preparation for IUI,

• Management of the technical environment (maintenance, quality control, calibration, breakdown management, stock),

• Application of the laboratory's quality approach,

• Drafting quality documents.

Profile required

• BTS in biological analysis / Diplôme d'Etat de Technicien en analyses biomédicales (DETAB), ATM de laboratoire, technologue de laboratoire or equivalent,

• Authorisation to practise the profession in Luxembourg,

• Fluency in French. Knowledge of English, German and Luxembourgish is an additional advantage,

• A first experience in a reproductive biology department is desirable, junior profiles are also accepted.
