Technology & Operations design and integrate software applications ranging from portfolio management systems, trading platforms to banking and corporate solutions. The division is responsible for some of the Group’s key innovations while sustaining business operations and developing custodian and funds administration services.
The Fees Management Specialist play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely calculation, billing, and reconciliation of fees, as well as monitoring fee-related activities and providing insights to support decision-making and revenue optimization.
The role of the function is to be responsible for managing and overseeing the fees and pricing processes within the organization.
Your role
- Calculate fees for various banking products and services based on established pricing structures and fee schedules. Ensure accuracy and completeness of fee calculations and generate invoices for clients in a timely manner. Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to resolve any billing discrepancies or issues.
- Perform regular reconciliations of fee transactions, ensuring consistency between billing systems and financial records. Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or variances identified during the reconciliation process. Maintain accurate documentation and records of fee-related activities.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of pricing structures and fee schedules for banking products and services. Collaborate with product managers, finance, and other stakeholders to ensure competitiveness and profitability of fee structures. Participate to periodic reviews and updates to align with market conditions and business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies related to fee management and pricing. Stay updated on industry regulations and changes that may impact fee structures or billing processes. Collaborate with compliance and legal teams to ensure adherence to applicable regulations.
- Identify opportunities to streamline and enhance the efficiency of fee management processes. Propose and implement process improvements, automation, and digitization initiatives to optimize workflows, reduce manual efforts, and enhance accuracy.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including relationship managers, finance, and operations teams, to address fee-related inquiries, resolve issues, and provide guidance on fee structures and billing processes. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to address fee-related concerns and ensure customer satisfaction.
Your profile
Qualifications and experience:
- University degree in Finance, accounting, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years’ experience In fees management, billing, or financial operations within the banking of financial services industry.
Specific knowledge:
- Strong knowledge of fee structures, pricing models, and billing processes.
- Proficiency in financial systems and software used for fee calculation and billing.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards related to fee management and billing.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
Language skills:
- Fluency in both English and French.
Personal qualities:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and clients.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
