Position Overview: Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Financial Accountant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial accounting, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to, accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.
• Prepare and review financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities, including reconciliations and journal entries.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance.
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to enhance financial operations and internal controls.
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to support business decision-making.
• Mentor and guide junior accounting staff, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in financial accounting, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in French or German is a plus.
