Production Director – Plastic Injection Plant (M/F)
As a leading plastic injection molding industrial site, we support international customers, particularly in the automotive sector, with high standards in quality, cost control and operational performance.
In this multicultural and excellence-driven context, we are recruiting our Production Director.
Your role
Reporting directly to General Management, you are responsible for the overall industrial, economic and human performance of the plant.
Your main responsibilities include
- Managing all production activities (injection molding, assembly, maintenance)
- Ensuring compliance with IATF 16949 and ISO standards
- Defining, monitoring and optimizing production costs (OEE, scrap, productivity, material)
- Driving performance indicators and related action plans
- Deploying continuous improvement and Lean Manufacturing initiatives
- Leading, developing and engaging production teams and managers
- Managing industrialization, investment and process optimization projects
- Interacting regularly with international customers and partners
Your profile
- Engineering degree or equivalent technical education
- Proven experience in production management or plant leadership in an industrial environment
- Strong expertise in plastic injection molding
- Solid knowledge of IATF 16949 / ISO standards
- Strong cost, performance and profitability mindset
- Hands-on leadership style with strong decision-making skills
- Fluent in English (and German is an advantage)
- Comfortable working in a multicultural context
