Van Campen Liem is recruiting a tax advisor to join its tax practice in Luxembourg as an associate.

Van Campen Liem is a boutique firm with offices in Amsterdam and Luxembourg whose strategy is focused on the alternative asset class. Representing the ideal blend of large firm sophistication and experience with boutique firm flexibility, pragmatism and care, we offer high quality expertise and advice to alternative asset managers and institutional investors on fund formation, fund primary and secondary investments, regulatory matters, M&A transactions and tax structuring.
Our tax practice
Van Campen Liem’s tax practice has developed a first-in-class expertise in serving clients active in the alternative asset class sector. We serve a broad range of alternative fund managers and alternative investment funds, with a particular focus on (regulated or unregulated) funds with private equity and venture capital, infrastructure, private debt and real estate strategies.
The tax team is headed by two partners and regularly advises on the set-up and structuring of alternative funds, review of fund documentation, tax planning for fund sponsor and institutional investors who invest in alternative investment funds, M&A and PE deal structuring, divestments and exit strategies and executive remuneration packages.
As an associate, you will be given the opportunity to assist clients on files under supervision of senior team members or partners directly, develop technical and legal skills and contribute to business development activities and organisation of other office ;You will furthermore extensively work with colleagues from the corporate- and investment fund departments throughout full formation and life cycle of investment funds and specifically on ;

You
- have two to four years of relevant working experience in Luxembourg;
- are fluent in both written and spoken English;
- are a true team player and eager to develop tax expertise; and
- are pragmatic and have very strong technical, writing and interpersonal skills.
