About the FHSE
The University of Luxembourg is an international research university with a distinctly multilingual and interdisciplinary character.
The Faculty of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences (FHSE) at the University of Luxembourg brings together expertise from the humanities, linguistics, cognitive sciences, social and educational sciences.
People from across 20 disciplines are working within the Faculty. Along with the disciplinary approach a very ambitious interdisciplinary research culture has been developed. The faculty's research and teaching focuses on social, economic, political and educational issues with the common goal of contributing to an inclusive, open and resourceful society.
Your role
You will work in a team to ensure the correct functioning of the Bachelor of Science in Psychology:
Bachelor in Psychology - FHSE - University of Luxembourg I Uni.lu
You will work closely with the course director and teaching staff, as well as with the other study programme administrators of the Faculty, the Dean's office of the Faculty, and the central services of the University (notably student services, IT, communications, logistics).
Tasks included
- Perform planning, scheduling and system update functions required for courses, exams and events
- Inform and advise students and teachers on administrative and organisational matters
- Processing of administrative files such as certificates and internship agreements
- General office duties; e.g. archiving, records management, welcoming students and teaching staff
- Maintain processes and procedures in line with the Faculty and University guidelines
- Participation in different events
Your profile
- High school diploma in business administration or a Higher education degree
- Fluency in French and German. Luxembourgish is an asset
- Work experience in administration or in the education sector
- Proficient knowledge MS office
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
