Several of our 2026 programmes are well advanced and currently in delivery phase. We need a Project Manager who can step in immediately, take ownership of ongoing workstreams, and ensure continuity of delivery while preparing the next funding cycle. This is a hands-on operational role combining programme coordination with institutional fundraising. You will work closely with the founder, partner organisations, and field collaborators, with significant autonomy from day one.

Main responsibilities

Programme coordination and delivery

  • Take ownership of ongoing programmes mid-flight: timelines, budgets, deliverables, and partner relationships.
  • Plan, organise, and follow up on activity implementation across multiple concurrent projects.
  • Liaise with partners, local communities, beneficiaries, and service providers.
  • Maintain clear communication and information flow within the team.

Institutional fundraising and partnerships

  • Actively support institutional fundraising: draft proposals, applications, and renewals for public bodies, foundations, and EU funding instruments.
  • Support relationship management with institutional donors, corporate sponsors, and collaborating organisations.
  • Contribute to the fundraising pipeline and reporting cycle in coordination with the founder.

Monitoring, reporting, and evaluation

  • Collect data, photos, and testimonials for evaluation and donor reporting.
  • Prepare mid-term and final activity reports to institutional standards.
  • Identify lessons learned and feed continuous improvement.

Communication and visibility

  • Lead communication efforts related to programme implementation and results.
  • Prepare content summaries, visuals, and updates in coordination with partners.
  • Ensure coherence with Sportunity's mission and visual identity across all materials.

Profile we are looking for

Essential

  • Proven experience (3+ years) coordinating multi-stakeholder programmes in the non-profit, associative, educational, cultural, or social inclusion sector.
  • Demonstrable experience contributing to institutional fundraising — proposal writing, donor reporting, public grant compliance, or EU-funded project management.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication in French and English (full working proficiency in both is required).
  • Excellent organisation: capacity to handle several workstreams simultaneously, meet deadlines independently, and step into projects already in motion.
  • Right to work in Luxembourg (Luxembourgish, EU/EEA national, or holder of a valid Luxembourg work authorisation). Applications without work authorisation cannot be considered.
  • Immediate availability

Desirable

  • Working knowledge of Luxembourgish or German is a strong plus.
  • Familiarity with Luxembourg's and European institutional funding landscape.
  • Experience working with refugees, asylum seekers, or vulnerable communities.
  • Affinity for or experience in sport, culture, or community education as vehicles for social impact.

Personal attributes

  • Proactive and dependable: able to take initiative while maintaining precision.
  • Creative and reflective: combining imagination with practical sense to strengthen impact.
  • Empathic communicator, comfortable engaging across cultures and lived experiences.
  • Structured thinker who brings clarity, order, and efficiency to complex workflows.
  • Motivated by tangible social impact, not by the abstract idea of it.

Practical details

  • Contract: CDD or CDI, full-time.
  • Start date: as soon as possible — immediate availability strongly preferred.
  • Location: Luxembourg City, with mobility across the country. Hybrid working possible.
  • Open to cross-border candidates already commuting from or able to relocate near Luxembourg (Lorraine, Wallonia, Saarland, Trier region).
