Manpower is recruiting a Payments & Treasury Operations Officer for one of its institutional clients operating in the financial sector, based in Luxembourg, as part of a temporary assignment.

 

Your missions:

  • Manage the settlement of cash flow operations related to various business activities (Private Equity fund drawdowns, guarantee calls, disbursement requests) as well as the organisation’s general expenses

  • Ensure the daily distribution of inflows and reconciliation of payments

  • Perform checks on treasury-related transactions, including trade verification, matching of confirmations and first-level validation (money market, callable deposits, FX operations, liquidity management) in the treasury system

  • Maintain and update the external bank accounts database and ensure data completeness across systems

  • Prepare documentation for the opening and closing of bank accounts and liaise with external banks on account maintenance matters

  • Ensure timely transmission of payment instructions to banks

  • Provide operational support to team members, particularly during holiday periods

  • Organise, maintain and update filing systems to ensure efficient access to operational documentation

  • Assist external auditors when required

  • Contribute to specific projects within the division




Your profile:


  • University degree in Banking, Finance, Business Administration or a related field; post-graduate qualification is an asset

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience for an Officer role and 5 years for a Senior Officer role in payments and settlements, preferably within banking, financial institutions or back-office operations

  • Solid understanding of back-office processes and transactional settlement activities

  • Knowledge of Business Objects, online banking platforms and SWIFT is considered an asset

  • Strong attention to detail, with a high level of accuracy and reliability

  • Proactive, solution-oriented and well-organised, with the ability to manage priorities effectively

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards

  • Strong team spirit and adaptability in a demanding work environment

  • Excellent command of written and spoken English; knowledge of other EU languages is an advantage

  • Comfortable working in a multicultural and international environment
