PL/SQL Developer (m/f/x)

For our department IS&O within General Services, we are looking for a (an):

PL/SQL Developer (m/f/x)

Main duties:

As a PL/SQL Developer you will be part of our Oracle Team. Working on the databases, processes and applications that support all aspects of our airline, tours, and service businesses. You will join an experienced team of Oracle Developers, focused on supporting internal customers.

This is your opportunity to influence the smooth operations of millions of passengers in Luxembourg and the greater region (France, Belgium, The Netherlands & Germany).

Your responsibilities would include:

* Designing, developing, and implementing complex database systems and PL/SQL programs.
* Analyzing business requirements and translating them into technical solutions using PL/SQL and other Oracle technologies.
* Ensuring the integrity and security of data in Oracle databases through efficient coding and data management practices.
* Optimizing and maintaining existing PL/SQL procedures and packages for performance improvements.
* Participating in the full development lifecycle, including planning, analysis, design, implementation, and maintenance.
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and implement new functionality and product features.
* Providing support and training to end-users and internal teams on new and existing applications, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.
* Occasionally assisting with administrative tasks and supporting the department's operational needs.
* Improving engineering standards, tooling, and processes.

Required profile:

Minimum required criteria:

* Holding a bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent, or possessing a proven experience in a similar role
* Demonstrating in-depth knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL programming.
* Having strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Possessing excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.

Desired or to be acquired criteria:

* Experience with Oracle APEX, BI Publisher development, and Oracle Forms & Reports.
* Familiarity with web services creation and management.
* Strong organizational and project management skills.
* Detail-oriented, reliable, and capable of working independently and in a team environment.
* Able to learn and apply new Oracle technologies effectively. * Ability to analyze complex data and develop innovative solutions.
