The Société de l'Aéroport de Luxembourg (lux-Airport) is the aerodrome operator responsible for the operation of the airport infrastructure. Our platform provides, among other things, direct flight services to more than 100 destinations via 16 airlines.

We have more than 350 employees, with different backgrounds and 19 nationalities.


Together we work daily to ensure the efficient operation of the airport and to provide a quality service to our passengers.

Thanks to everyone's commitment, we live up to our motto of being the best-in-class airport. Our reputation is also reflected in a few key figures: by the end of 2022, for example, we reached 4.05 million passengers and 975,000 tonnes of cargo.


To continue to meet our commitments and develop other projects, we are currently recruiting: an Operations Agent for the Business Aviation Center - Operations Department.


Driven by a dynamic, flourishing and demanding business sector, the Business Aviation Center (BAC) is the terminal exclusively dedicated to Business Aviation in Luxembourg.

Located on the doorstep of a European capital, the BAC terminal, whose credos are Competence, Character and Excellence, is dedicated to making a qualitative contribution to ground handling.

The aim of this recruitment is to strengthen the existing team within the department and to contribute, day after day, to the development and expression of the quality of service expected by our customers.

You will report to the Business Aviation Center Manager.

Your responsibilities


Your daily tasks

  • Providing operational, commercial and administrative support for the Business Aviation Centre, as well as providing additional daily assistance for the protocol activities of the VIP Lounge;
  • Receiving and handling all customer and crew requests at the Business Aviation Centre;
  • Coordinating and following up operators' requests for assistance (using internal management tools);
  • Ensuring and monitoring the planning and follow-up of flight operations (radio frequency, weather, Notam, flight planning, various services);
  • Ensuring that arrivals and departures run smoothly and are processed correctly (communication to partner service providers, authorities, airport security, customs, police, etc.);
  • Ensuring customer loyalty and being a driving force in the continuous improvement of the services offered;
  • Carrying out customer invoicing and payment operations;
  • At the same time, on a daily basis as well as during exceptional events, welcoming passengers to the VIP Lounge and providing related services in accordance with the specific specifications of a demanding clientele.

Your other missions

  • Developing, maintaining and guaranteeing the communication of information to ensure the smooth running of operations;
  • Carrying out the administrative tasks inherent in the role of Operations Officer;
  • Participating in the integration of new employees.

The required profile


Studies / training :

Higher education diploma (Bac +2) or equivalent experience


Experience :

Proven first professional experience in an airport environment and/or in any job involving top-of-the-range services for a demanding clientele


Skills and knowledge required:

  • French: fluent spoken and written
