Our client, an Investment Fund Company based in Luxembourg, is looking for its future Senior Risk Reporting Officer for their Head of the Risk Reporting and Data Unit.
This will be a temporary contract of 2 months. Please note that this assignment may be extended, in accordance with Luxembourgish law, for a maximum duration of 1 year.

Your purpose :
The Senior Risk Reporting Officer will support major digital transformation and data-related projects within the Risk Reporting & Data Unit. The role focuses on moving key risk databases to the Group Data Warehouse, improving reporting tools, and automating manual processes to strengthen risk data management across the organisation.
Your responsabilities :
- Take part in transferring several important risk databases to the Group Data Warehouse, ensuring the data is accurate, consistent, and fully documented.
- Follow up on IT tickets linked to the migration and work with both IT teams and business users to solve issues quickly.
- Build and update reports using tools such as Business Objects and Power BI, including dashboards, reconciliations, and scenario uploads.
- Help introduce new reporting methods and support the testing and governance of Power BI solutions.
- Create and manage processes that address data quality issues, including setting up workflows, documenting steps, and testing the related tools.
- Track data quality through dashboards, monitor exceptions, and coordinate solutions with various teams.
- Upload and check key regulatory data inputs used for internal risk calculations.
- Oversee the upload and maintenance of metadata in the relevant governance tools.
- Prepare clear documentation describing business rules, workflows, and technical elements related to migration and reporting projects.
- Act as a bridge between the Risk Office, IT, and business areas to support successful migration and digitalisation initiatives.
- Provide regular updates on project progress, challenges, and risks to all involved parties, including senior management.
Your profile :
- At least three years of experience in fields such as banking, investment management, consulting, audit, or regulation.
- Hands-on involvement in data migration, digital transformation, or process automation projects within a financial or regulatory environment.
- Good understanding of risk management frameworks, such as risk appetite, regulatory disclosures, or securitisation/equity methodologies.
- Skilled in data and reporting tools, especially Business Objects and Power BI.
- Strong understanding of risk data aggregation and reporting standards, especially BCBS 239.
- Knowledge of key risk metrics (capital, leverage, liquidity) and experience analysing portfolios.
- Advanced skills in MS Office and business intelligence tools.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English.
- Additional EU languages are a plus.
