Industrial Controller (m/f/d)

Our finance’s team is looking for a result driven Industrial Controller, responsible to support operations or departments in managing and monitoring their activities and risks. Your Mission:

·       Further develop & harmonize the industrial controlling environment allowing to interpreting the operational & financial data through improved SAP (BI) & PowerBI tools

·       Actively work on validating and adjusting the local ERP parameters (mainly transformation cost drivers)

·       Monitor the standardization in approach, tools and reports between different operation departments and factories

  • Support departments during the annual budgeting and updated forecasts exercises 
  • Analyzing and reporting monthly results based on the realized production output:
  • Compare current production and operational costs with absorption based on standards / commercial costs
  • Analyze key cost drivers
  • Assisting the business in realizing cost efficiencies
  • Follow up & update product cost systems:
  • Verify cost calculations for existing products
  • Support cost calculations for new products
  • Proactively identify costing issues
  • Analyze & optimize cost calculation
  • Follow up inventory valuation and orders/projects in execution:
  • Monthly check of inventory and unit prices
  • Follow up on inventory valuation. Analyze stock rotation and verify obsolescence based on historic and future usage
  • Identify potential risks impacting stock levels and stock correctness and support during the realization of countermeasures
  • Financial follow up of Projects
  • Analyze most important internal production driven variances (material prices, inefficiencies in transformation process, …)
  • Proactively identify project issues and have them discussed with project/central management
  • Ad hoc analysis on request of management
  • Perform analysis and give feedback (ROI calculation, analyze costs between the different production entities, analyze optimal contribution with limited capacity, etc.)


 

 

Your Profile:

·       Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance (a master’s degree in finance or business administration is a plus).

·       5 to 8 years of experience in a similar position (Industrial controlling/costing experience)

·       Strong knowledge of Excel and with SAP is required, Powerpoint, PowerBI is an asset

·       Fluent in English; proficiency in French and/or German

·       Analytical thinker who is driven by results, continuous improvement

·       Ability to synthetize complex situation

·       High interpersonal & communication skills to interact with different interlocutors (head of department, operations staff, etc.)
