On behalf of our client, we are seeking a Project Officer specialising in late-stage venture capital for an exciting temporary assignment at the heart of European innovation initiatives.
Key Responsability :
Working within a dynamic and international team, you will contribute to strategic projects linked to venture capital and scale-up financing programmes:
- Support and contribute to project management activities related to late-stage venture capital programmes
- Assist in the development and launch of a next-generation pan-European scale-up initiative aimed at fostering innovation and growth across the EU
- Coordinate with internal teams and engage with external stakeholders, including investors, policymakers and institutional partners
- Draft notes, presentations and briefings for governance bodies and external audiences
- Support the preparation of legal documentation and related discussions with stakeholders
- Monitor the implementation of ongoing initiatives and conduct market analysis
Profile
- University degree (minimum Bachelor's degree or equivalent) in Finance, Business Administration, Engineering, Law or a related field
- At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in the financial sector and/or consulting, ideally in venture capital or private equity
- Excellent command of English; additional EU languages are considered an asset
The following would be an advantage:
- Previous experience in project management
- Good understanding of the European Union, its institutions and policy objectives
- Experience working with legal documentation
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, SharePoint)
