The client relationship manager is the client's privileged intermediary. Indeed, the professional will manage a portfolio of clients (individuals or professionals) and ensure the follow-up right after the signature of a contract or the finalisation of the sale. The client relationship manager will ensure client satisfaction and offer an irreproachable quality of service. In addition, he or she will prospect for new clients in order to increase the company's longevity. As a manager, his or her work also consists in defining a strategy, setting the objectives to be achieved by his or her team and setting up loyalty programmes.
As a client relationship manager, you may work in any company of any size and in different sectors, such as in trade and retail, mass distribution, banking, insurance, etc. Please note that assignments may vary depending on the sector. In Luxembourg, the main hiring companies are the BIL (Banque Internationale à Luxembourg), Lemanik, Aztec Group, UBS, Pictet, VP Bank, Intertrust, etc. Some companies use recruitment agencies such as FYTE, Axis Group, Greenfield, etc. to recruit client relationship managers.
To be eligible for the job of client relationship manager, you are often required to have experience as a client relationship officer or in a similar position in trade.
