Our client, a well-established and growing player in the asset management industry, is looking for a Funds Accountant for a temporary replacement of 3 months. This role offers exposure to a wide range of international investment funds within a dynamic and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
As a Fund Accountant, you will be involved in the day-to-day accounting and financial activities of multiple funds with varying levels of complexity. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining general ledgers, sub‑ledgers and trial balances for several international fund clients, in compliance with applicable accounting standards;
- Performing periodic Net Asset Value (NAV) calculations, including asset valuation, accruals, reconciliations and fee calculations;
- Analysing, processing and controlling a wide range of financial instruments: equities, hedge funds, derivatives and bonds;
- Acting as a key point of contact with prime brokers;
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree (Bac+3 minimum), ideally in Accounting, Finance or Audit;
- At least 2 years of experience in an accounting role
- Solid understanding of financial instruments such as bonds, stocks and OTC derivatives (forwards, swaps, futures, options);
- Previous experience in fund accounting is considered a strong advantage;
- Fluent in English (additional European languages are an asset);
- Good command of MS Office, particularly Excel.
