We are looking for a Domain Hub Architect for one of our clients based in Luxembourg.
- Freelance contract or permanent contract via a payrolling company
- 1 year of mission (renewable)
- English fluent is mandatory
- A deep understanding of wealth management business, regulatory framework in Europe as well as technology frameworks is essential.
Domain Architecture :
- Influence the business direction early by shaping the target architecture alongside product leaders, ensuring technical decisions genuinely support strategic outcomes
- Design target architectures that balance technical robustness with economic viability, giving you the authority to make decisions that hold up both technically and financially
- Gain clear ownership by validating and approving solution blueprints, ensuring what is delivered matches the architectural intent you defined
- Work within clear enterprise standards to build systems that last, reducing rework and protecting long-term system quality
- When constraints arise, drive informed trade-offs by structuring options and steering exception decisions rather than just accepting technical compromises
- Take end-to-end responsibility for application lifecycles, actively reducing architectural debt instead of inheriting long-term problems
- Make architectural debt visible and controlled, protecting platforms from erosion while enabling sustainable evolution
Planning :
- Co-create the architectural roadmap with global architects, giving you a long-term view and real influence over capability development
- Shape QBR inputs and PI-level enablers so architectural priorities are reflected in planning, not added as afterthoughts
- Translate complex technical findings into clear, agreed PI objectives, ensuring teams move in a consistent and aligned direction
- Support teams in turning architectural intent into concrete features and stories, accelerating delivery without losing coherence
Collaboration :
- Anticipate and manage risks linked to standard deviations or innovation, helping drive scalable solutions across the organisation
- Align system intent with real stakeholder, customer, and supplier needs, ensuring architecture supports actual usage, not theoretical models
- Work closely with suppliers to secure technical clarity upfront, reducing integration friction and ensuring externally delivered solutions fit cleanly into the ecosystem
Required experience and skills :
- English fluent
- BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field and proven working experience as a architect in the information technology and/ or finance sector
- Comprehensive knowledge of wealth management business and banking products and services.
- Deep understanding of the regulatory framework in the banking industry and standard processing of financial services
- Strong experience with Temenos Banking software (Transact and/or Triple'A) is required, further experience in other standard banking products might be considered as an advantage
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and JIRA Analytical and critical mindset, risk awareness
