ICT Governance Officer

As an ICT Governance Officer, you will help coordinate and enhance key governance activities across the IT function, supporting a strong and effective governance framework in a dynamic environment. Working with colleagues across the bank, you will contribute to governance reporting, control and resilience initiatives, policy management and third-party governance, helping to ensure that processes remain transparent, well-structured and aligned with business needs.

 

This role offers the opportunity to build broad expertise across ICT Governance while working at the intersection of technology, risk and business operations. The ICT Officer will report to the Head of ICT Governance.

About the job


  • Governance follow-up & action tracking: Coordinate the follow-up of audit recommendations and governance actions, maintain the IT issue register and work closely with the Information Security Officer and relevant IT teams to support timely resolution and effective governance oversight
  • IT control & resilience coordination: Manage the IT control catalogue and resilience testing calendar, helping to ensure activities are delivered, documented and tracked in line with agreed timelines
  • DORA & third-party governance: Maintain the ICT third-party register and coordinate relevant governance activities, documentation and guidelines to support the bank’s adherence to DORA
  • Financial & vendor oversight: Maintain accurate visibility of IT budgets, invoicing and provisions, while supporting SLA reviews, contract renewals and vendor management activities
  • Governance reporting & dashboards: Prepare ICT governance reporting and dashboards that support effective decision-making and provide visibility on key governance activities
  • Policy & standards management: Coordinate the review cycle of IT policies and standards, helping to maintain an up-to-date governance framework


About you


  • Solid foundation in IT, Audit, Risk, or Business – obtained via academic degree, specialised professional certifications, or intensive vocational training
  • Initial experience (approx. 3-5 years) in IT Audit, IT Risk or GRC, preferably in a regulated sector
  • IT audit lifecycle: solid understanding of planning, testing, remediation and closure
  • Regulatory knowledge: Familiarity with ICT governance and regulatory frameworks applicable to the financial sector, including DORA
  • IT control execution: Ability to map technical operations to control requirements
  • Data management: Proficiency in maintaining complex registers (third-party, issues, policies) with high accuracy
  • Tech-savvy mindset: High level of comfort with modern technologies (AI, productivity tools, automation) as working tools to streamline governance workflows
  • Knowledge of ITIL, COBIT, or ISO frameworks is a plus
  • Organisational rigor: Highly structured, reliable and detail-oriented; able to manage complex registers and evidence files with a consistently high standard of accuracy and traceability
  • Transparency and communication: Clear and direct communication style with a commitment to engage firmly but constructively, in follow-ups and to bridge the gap between technical teams and control functions
  • Adaptability and flexibility: Comfortable working in a dynamic environment, navigating change effectively
  • Ownership and accountability: Demonstrates a proactive approach in taking responsibility for tasks/outcomes, with strong ownership and attention to detail
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Experience in working collaboratively across different teams and departments
  • Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in French, German or other languages is a plus
