We have the great pleasure to assist this fund administrator in its search for a Senior Manager Fund Accounting.  

The company has been present in Luxembourg for more than a decade and is currently growing its fund department. The fund accounting team is composed of around 10 people, and is a member of a larger group composed of more than 100 people. Most of the accountants who compose the company are eager to learn and care about team spirit, and as a result, the atmosphere is ideal for spending good moments together as a team.

Indeed, it is quite common for colleagues to have lunch together or simply take time to get to know each other. The fact that team members all have very different backgrounds ensures interesting conversations on a daily basis, and the chance to be surrounded by people who genuinely care about getting to know and help each other.

The clients of the company are mostly alternative funds, including funds in Private Equity and Real Estate, and they are looking for a person with thorough knowledge of these funds.

Your Responsibilities | Fund Accounting – Funds – Investment Funds - Accounting

• You are in charge of a team composed of junior fund accountants and senior fund accountants.
• You supervise your team and prepare their planning, in order to help them expand their organizational skills.
• You are in charge of the NAV calculation for several funds such as private equity, real estate, and hedge funds. Staying partly operational ensures that you keep up with the latest developments and your technical level.
• You are responsible for the review of all documents prepared by your colleagues, and to explain them their mistakes.
• You also handle the accounting of a few funds by yourself, from A to Z.
• You are in direct contact with your clients.
  
  

Profile and Career Path | Fund Accounting – Funds – Investment Funds - Accounting

• You have at least 8 years of experience in fund accounting in Luxembourg, ideally acquired within an investment firm or a PFS. You have had exposure to alternative investment funds as well.
• You already have a thorough experience in team management.
• You are fluent in English. Any other language will be considered an advantage.
• Your client portfolio has mostly been composed of PE/RE funds, either regulated or unregulated.
• You are ambitious and want to be part of a project. You like to implement new methodologies, and you listen to your colleagues to ensure that the daily organization and team spirit is optimal.

• Your salary can go up to € 110.000 gross per year. You will receive meal vouchers of €15, a bonus, and health insurance in addition to this salary.
