KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with the Electronics engineering team to complete schematic and PCB board designs layouts ranging from simple to complex, multi-layer printed circuit boards containing Analog, Digital, Radio Frequency and Power Electronic components
- Drawing input in collaboration with the Electronics engineering team
- Design electronic cards layout
- Liaise with PCB vendors to select proper materials, stack-ups, obtain impedance specifications, design rule sets, assembly requirements and resolve any manufacturing related issues
- Work closely with mechanical design team and in-house production department
- Create and manage PCB documentation including fabrication and assembly packages
- Work with document control department to release fabrication and assembly packages into company-wide PLM system
- Create and maintain schematic symbols and PCB footprints among multiple libraries
PREFERRED SKILLS
- Knowledge of the Electronic Design Automation (EDA)/Computer Assisted Design (CAD) tool (Altium, Cadence …)
- Familiarity with database management
- Experience with other EDA tools and eventually script development
