About the Role:

For our Ferrero HQ based in Luxembourg, we are looking for a Category Buyer to join our Procurement team.


By covering this position, you will guarantee Procurement activities applying and implementing purchasing policies.


Main Responsibilities:

In this role, you will support the execution of procurement strategies. You will contribute to harmonizing processes, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring that procurement activities are aligned with budget planning and business needs.

Your mission will also include applying the full source-to-pay process and ensuring compliance with internal procedures and standards.


Moreover, you will be involved in vendor scoutingcontract management, and supplier negotiations, while also supporting due diligence and qualification processes.

Your responsibilities will include monitoring supplier performance through KPIs, managing service levels, and addressing operational issues.

Contributing to the evaluation of supplier offers and helping identify suitable alternatives based on demand, quality, and contractual frameworks will be as well under your scope.


Thanks to your collaborative approach, you will work closely with internal stakeholders to align procurement activities with business requirements.


Who we are looking for:

You will bring your educational background in Business Administration, Procurement, Engineering or other related field with 3-5 years of experience in Procurement.


Enthusiastic, you have an analytical mindset with strong reportingnegotiation, and communication skills.  

As a strategic thinker, you demonstrate the ability to work effectively across all levels and functions within the company, as well as with external business partners.


On top of that, you will bring your knowledge of Microsoft OfficeSAP and your fluency in English.
