About the Role:

For our Ferrero HQ based in Luxembourg, we are currently looking for a Trade Marketing Specialist Africa Levante.


Main Responsibilities:

Thanks to your expertise in trade marketing and strategic planning, you will play a key role in supporting the Market in developing and implementing a sales strategy that aligns with the Brand strategy. Your deep understanding of market dynamics, distributor strategies, and shopper behavior will be essential in providing the necessary tools and means to activate Ferrero Category strategies at the point of sale. As a bridge between Local Marketing, Sales, and Supply Chain, you will ensure seamless communication and collaboration.


You will report to the TM Manager of the region, working within a dedicated team of four in Luxembourg and two locally. Your focus will be on the new commercial policy, driving CATEGORY STRATEGIES & PLANS. This involves defining the yearly implementation plan for modern trade, traditional trade, and alternative channels, ensuring proper category presence, and maintaining permanent implementations at check-out and hot zones. You will develop effective medium and long-term local strategies in line with Ferrero Group Marketing guidelines, define the Channel Vision for responsible categories, and prepare detailed reports on sales volume, market trends, and competitors’ outcomes.

Additionally, you will implement cross Brand and cross Category programs and provide comprehensive reports on activities and their results.


Your role in IN STORE ACTIVITY MANAGEMENT will include defining in-out activities and presence in flyers according to the Activity grid, preparing tracking for all activities agreed by contract in both Modern Trade and Traditional Trade, and ensuring the execution of “on Point of Sales” activities such as promotions, placement, POP material, and POS animation. Coordination of information flows between Marketing and Sales will be part of your responsibilities.

In BDG MANAGEMENT, you will define and track the bdg available by country, by brand, and by month, ensuring accurate and timely management of budgets.


Who we are looking for:

Thanks to your 4-6 years of experience in Trade Marketing or Sales within FMCG companies, you will adeptly navigate the cross-functional landscape, collaborating seamlessly with Sales, Marketing, and Finance teams. Your role will occasionally require regional travel, approximately once per session, aligning with the needs and background availability to ensure successful execution of responsibilities. 


Your analytical mindset will serve as a valuable asset, enabling you to effectively handle the complexities of trade marketing and commercial strategies. Proficiency in IT skills, particularly MS Office with a focus on PowerPoint and Excel, will aid in the efficient execution of tasks. 

Fluency in English is essential and would enhance your ability to engage with a diverse range of stakeholders within the regions.
