FATCA /CRS /QI regime expert - 2 Months NVL2

We are currently seeking a qualified FATCA/CRS Senior Officer to join our client's team for a freelance/interim mission lasting 2 months. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with FATCA, QI, and CRS regulations.

Your duties will include:

• Participating in the annual FATCA & CRS reporting process, ensuring submissions are made to the tax authority by the relevant deadlines.
• Conducting quality checks on FATCA & CRS self-certifications and due diligence, including forms such as W-8 and/or W-9, as necessary.
• Handling documentation, reporting, and withholding related to the QI regime.
• Responsively addressing inquiries from stakeholders (clients, colleagues, Tax authority) courteously and promptly, both verbally and in writing, under supervision if needed.
• Contributing ideas for process improvement and supporting their implementation.
• Ensuring accurate updates of timesheets.
• Fostering a positive team environment by maintaining effective working relationships with colleagues.
• Demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of FATCA, QI, and CRS regulations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics or equivalent.
• ACCA/ACA qualification or in progress.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in FATCA, QI, and CRS reporting, preferably within the Funds sector.
• Proficiency in IT skills, particularly in .xml reporting (e-file platform).
• Fluent in English; proficiency in French is advantageous.
