POSTE
For one of our clients, a European Institution located in Luxembourg Kirchberg, Sofitex Talent is currently looking for a
Finance Directorate - Operational Assistant (M/F)
The Operational assistant will contribute to the monitoring, processing, and smooth execution of SWIFT-related financial operations in order to ensure accuracy, continuity of service, and compliance with internal procedures.
Main responsibilities:
- Handle SWIFT messages in both MX and MT formats across multiple message types;
-?Prepare, analyse, and distribute regular reports to relevant internal and external stakeholders;
-?Liaise with internal operational teams, SWIFT Alliance support, and external counterparties to resolve queries and ensure seamless processing;
-?Process fees and claims accurately and within agreed timelines.
For security and business-critical reasons, certain tasks cannot be performed remotely. The successful candidate will therefore be required to be present on site for the execution of specific activities.
PROFIL
Required Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in an operational role in a relevant field.
- Proven experience in Swift message processing, including MX and MT formats.
- Previous experience in banking operations or financial services, particularly in cash and securities management.
Key technical/professional knowledge and skills:
- Knowledge of ISO 20022 standards and their application in financial messaging and payment systems.
- In-depth understanding of Swift Alliance and related infrastructure, including MX and MT message formats.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work accurately under tight deadlines.
- Good communication skills for effective interaction with internal teams and external counterparties.
Required Qualification:
Secondary level diploma, complemented with a 2-year certification in a relevant field (economics, finance, accounting, business administration) or secondary level diploma with equally qualified experience in a relevant field.
Candidates with substantial professional experience in banking operations or post-trade environments will also be considered.
Language Requirements:
Fluent in English, with strong business communication skills
Great opportunity for an initial 2-month contract + several extensions
Salary; level 2 or 3, depending on experience (either 4350EUR gross or 5100EUR gross)
