In this role, you will report to the Accounting Manager for Projects & Integrations, supporting our operations with essential accounting and administrative services. Your primary responsibilities include:
Ensuring accurate financial statements by maintaining accounting principles and procedures.Managing cash and receivables activities, general ledger preparation, financial reporting, year-end audit preparation, and budget support. Collaborating with local management and third parties on cash and receivables processes.Assisting the Accounting Manager in coaching the Accounts Receivable team.
Tasks :
Accounting and Finance:
- Oversee accounting and financial reporting for subsidiaries in compliance with IFRS and local GAAP.
- Support mergers, acquisitions, and integrations.
- Ensure the quality of ESG data and management reporting.
- Prepare annual statutory accounts and budgets.
- Ensure tax compliance in collaboration with the Tax department.
- Manage banking and treasury activities.
- Review balance sheet reconciliations and provide evidence for audits.
Process and Systems:
- Implement and maintain accounting controls and procedures.
- Deploy control systems in your market(s).
- Participate in European projects involving system integration, IFRS migration, and policy maintenance.
- Assist with special projects and workflow improvements.
People Management:
- Help manage the local Accounts Receivable team to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Collaborate with other finance managers to achieve departmental goals.
- Provide guidance on non-routine reporting transactions.
- Train new and existing staff.
Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- Minimum of 5 of accounting experience in the Services or Retail sector
- Management experience is a plus.
- Proficiency with IFRS and local GAAP.
- Experience with CRM/ERP migration projects.
- Fluent in English and French;
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft applications.
