Our job opportunity
Today, we are currently recruiting an Airport Contingency Manager.
Your responsibilities
*Your daily tasks
 Leading and maintaining the Aerodrome Emergency Plan (AEP), ensuring operational readiness, stakeholder coordination, and regular testing.
Ensuring consistency and alignment between the Emergency Response Plan (ERP) and the Safety Management System (SMS), in accordance with applicable regulations, in coordination with relevant internal and external stakeholders (e.g., airlines and government authorities).
 Developing and overseeing the Business Continuity Management (BCM) framework, including risk assessments and recovery strategies, in close collaboration with the Safety Department.
Ensuring the operational readiness and activation of the Airport Emergency Crisis Center (AECC) during incidents.
Managing and structuring the Manager-on-Duty (MoD) and Director-on-Duty (DoD) system, including roles and responsibilities, training, and escalation protocols.
Ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory requirements (e.g., ICAO and EASA) and preparing for audits related to contingency and resilience projects.
Designing and delivering training programs and crisis exercises to ensure organizational preparedness.
Coordinating internal and external stakeholders and leading working groups related to the AEP, BCM, MoD/DoD, and AECC.
Developing, implementing, and managing internal airport volunteer frameworks to support operational resilience and crisis response during major disruptions and emergencies, including coordination, training, activation procedures, and stakeholder integration.
Developing and updating procedures related to the area of responsibility.
Organizing, coordinating, and driving continuous improvement of arrangements and resources related to emergency management, business continuity, and operational resilience, in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Driving reporting, performance monitoring, and the continuous improvement of all contingency and resilience frameworks.
*Your other missions
Participating in the onboarding and integration of new employees.
Contributing to waste sorting and energy-saving initiatives by adopting environmentally responsible practice
Actively contributing to the development of the airport's Safety and Security culture by reporting hazardous situations, occurrences, or incidents to prevent their occurrence and/or recurrence, in accordance with the principles of Just Culture.

The required profile
Studies / training
 Higher education degree (Bachelor) or equivalent experience
--
Experience
Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in a complex operational environment (ideally airport-related)
Proven experience in crisis management, emergency planning and/or business continuity
Experience in coordinating multiple internal and external stakeholders
Good knowledge of regulatory requirements applicable to aerodromes (notably International Civil Aviation Organization and European Union Aviation Safety Agency)
Strong understanding of crisis management and business continuity management (BCM) principles
Experience in auditing, procedure writing and document management
Good understanding of airport operations
