Senior Accountant - Fiduciary

One of my clients, a well-established fiduciary located near the Belgian borders, is currently looking for a Senior Accountant to strengthen its team. The company offers a professional yet friendly work environment, with a stable and human-sized team, and is looking for someone capable of handling full files from A to Z.

Job description :

A Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of a client portfolio. Your key responsabilities will include : 

• Day-to-day bookkeeping and year-end closings
• Preaparing and submitting VAT returns
• Drafting annual accounts and financial statements
• Preparing tax returns (corporate and individual)
• Direct contact with clients and public administrations
• Providing tailored advice and possibly mentoring junior staff

Profile sought ;

We're looking for an candidate who :

• Has 4 to 5 years of experience in accounting,  ideally within a fiduciary environment
• Is autonomous, well-organized and detail-oriented
• Speaks French, English and Luxembourgish fluently (any additional language such as Portuguese, Dutch or German is a strong asset)
• Has a solid understanding of Luxembourg tax and VAT regulations
• Enjoys working in a team and has good client communication skills
