We are looking for our client, an international industrial group located in Luxembourg, an System and Network Engineer bilingual ENG/FR.
Your responsibilities :
- You manage a global network (WAN, LAN, WLAN) and resolving issues as they come up.
- You guarantee that the proper network, server, and application security is in place.
- You make modification requests, offer suggestions for enhancing the current infrastructure, and offer advice on emerging technologies.
- You work with the other IT departments (Development and ERP teams) and handle the technical implementation and collaboration on various projects.
- You do preventative maintenance tasks.
- You oversee the implementation of new technologies, manage the lifetime of servers, and offer support for the whole IT infrastructure.
- You oversee the preparation of documentations and processes, including server deployment and upgrading.
- You take part of the process improvement.
Your profile :
- You have minimum of 5 years' experiences working in the same role.
- You master the majority of these tools: Microsoft Windows Server, AD, DNS, GPO, Exchange, VMWare, Scripting, MS SQL Server, Router, Network Security and VPN
- You must be fluent in English and French (mandatory)
- On call duty period : Maximum 3 weeks/year
- You are a polyvalent, autonomous and a good communicator.
