POSTE
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced UX design trainer to deliver an Introduction to User Experience (UX) course in 2025. The course will be designed for beginners with some programming knowledge, providing them with the foundational knowledge and skills to work as UX designers or researchers. The course will take place in Luxembourg, and will be offered twice in 2025. We are looking for a trainer with a strong background in UX design and research, well-connected within the UX community.
Course Content:
- Foundations of UX Design: Key terminology, human-centered design, usability, accessibility
- User Research: Interviews, focus groups, surveys, and contextual inquiry
- Design Methods: Storyboards, wireframes, prototypes, style guides, design systems
- Usability Testing: Usability and UX testing, heuristic analysis, surveys (e.g., UEQ, SUS)
- Ethical Design: Avoiding deceptive practices ("dark patterns")
- Hands-On Activities: Low-fidelity prototypes, usability testing, and interviewing exercises
Learning Outcomes: Upon successful completion of this course, participants will be able to:
- Define key UX terms (e.g., usability dimensions)
- Conduct user research and create personas, journey maps, and task models
- Design low-fidelity prototypes
- Perform usability tests
- Understand and apply ethical principles in UX design
PROFIL
Prerequisites:
- Proficiency in English
- Familiarity with Mac computer systems
Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven expertise in UX design and research, with significant experience delivering training programs
- Strong background in the UX community
- Familiarity with industry-standard UX methodologies and tools (e.g., CPUX-F, popular textbooks)
- Ability to adapt course content to fit the needs of beginners
