Junior IT Helpdesk / System Administrator (F/H/X)

GH interim Sàrl is a company created and managed by two partners experienced in the field of human resources for many years. The GH interim teams are made up of passionate people, available to listen to you in French, German, English, Dutch, Luxembourgish, etc. and having several years of experience in HR in Luxembourg. To be able to best serve its clients, GH interim has opened two agencies in Luxembourg (Wiltz and Luxembourg). GH interim works with candidates from Germany, Belgium, France and of course Luxembourg.  

We are looking for : Junior IT Helpdesk / System Administrator (F/H/X)  for a company based in Grevenmacher. 

Role:

• Provide first-line technical support to end users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues.  • Install, configure and maintain Workstation and Windows Server System, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP  • Monitor system performance, identify and resolve potential issues, and implement preventive measures.  • Deploy and manage software applications across our Windows network.  • Create and maintain user accounts and access permissions.  • Document IT procedure and processes  • Collaborate with senior system administrators on complex technical projects.  • Deploy and manage IT hardware (laptop, phone, network e.g.)  • Help with the management of infrastructure critical systems (backups, licenses e.g.) 

PERMANENT POSITION

• Associate degree in Information Technology or a related field  • 1+ years of experience in Windows Server administration  • Strong understanding of Windows Server operating system and Workstation, including Active Directory, DNS and DHCP  • Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.  • Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills  • Excellent language skills in English, French and/or German being considerate an asset.
