Investment Analyst | Portuguese | Market Analysis

Our client, a well-established international bank in Luxembourg, is currently looking for an Investment Analyst to strengthen its investment team.

This opportunity is particularly suited to a junior professional with a first experience in banking, asset management, investment advisory or another financial environment, who would like to gain further exposure to investment analysis, financial products and market research.

You will join a multicultural team and work closely with experienced investment professionals while progressively developing your expertise.

Your Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate investment opportunities through financial and market research
• Analyse investments, financial products and market developments to support investment decisions
• Conduct research on different asset classes, investment funds and market trends
• Enrich, update and maintain investment fund, product and market data
• Analyse quantitative and qualitative information relating to investment products
• Support the preparation of investment proposals and recommendations
• Assist Investment Advisors and Portfolio Managers with research and investment analysis
• Prepare presentations, analyses and supporting materials for investment committees
• Maintain and review relevant investment and product documentation
• Update financial databases and prepare reports using Excel
• Contribute to internal projects focused on improving and automating investment-related processes

Your Profile

• You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business or another relevant field
• You have gained a first professional experience, ideally within banking, asset management, investment advisory, an AIFM or financial services
• You have a strong interest in investments, financial markets and investment funds
• You enjoy conducting research, analysing financial information and working with data
• You have good knowledge of Excel and are comfortable working with financial databases
• You are fluent in Portuguese and English
